Incepted in April, 2005 by Dr. Gopichand Mannam and other like-minded individuals, Hrudaya Foundation is now headed by Mr. Yugandhar Meka, in India and Dr. Nagarjuna Ponugoti in USA. It’s an exceptional achievement to perform 5008 surgeries in 5475 days since inception of this noble initiative. During the last 14 years, the Foundation also facilitated screening to more than 10,000 children through camps in both Telugu states i.e Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.   

Hon’ble Vice President, Shri Venkaiah Naidu Garu graced the occasion as Hrudaya Foundation celebrates this accomplishment. He interacted with the treated children & their families and conveyed his best regards. Giving his note at the event, he said, “Children are the future of our country. The role of Hrudaya Foundation in conserving the future of the nation is truly commendable. I am overwhelmed and would like to appreciate the efforts of Dr. Gopichand Mannam and his team for this noble initiative. On this occasion of completing 5000 surgeries, I urge the like-minded individuals to support Hrudaya Foundation in whatever way possible and extend your warmth so that they can save many more innocent lives.
