Free Cancer Screening Camps Organised by Megastar Chiranjeevi

In a significant step towards combating cancer and promoting early detection, Star Hospitals Cancer Centre, in collaboration with Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, is organizing free cancer screening camps in the Telugu states. These camps aim to provide timely diagnosis and necessary interventions for individuals at risk.

The primary objective of these camps is to emphasise the importance of timely diagnosis and raise awareness about cancer prevention. Megastar Chiranjeevi, during the launch of Star Cancer Hospitals in the presence of Dr. Mannem Gopichand, Managing Director, highlighted the need to detect cancer at an early stage and ensure appropriate treatment for patients. True to his word, he has taken the responsibility to organise these screening camps, which will commence in selected locations across the Telugu states on a monthly basis. Furthermore, the number of locations and frequency of these camps will gradually increase.

Megastar Chiranjeevi commends Star Cancer Hospitals for their state-of-the-art facilities, surpassing many other cancer treatment centres in the Telugu states and South India. He appreciates their initiative in organising these free cancer screening camps, which will undoubtedly benefit numerous individuals.

Under the esteemed association of Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, Dr. Mannem Gopichand, leading the team at Star Cancer Hospitals, assures the successful implementation of these free cancer screening camps. The first phase of the camps will be held on July 9th, 2023 (Sunday) at the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank premises. This particular camp will be exclusively available to members of the cine industry, and valid identity cards are mandatory for entry. Participants can avail themselves of the screening along with their families, completely free of cost. In the event of any cancer symptoms being identified, individuals will be referred to Star Cancer Hospitals, Financial District, for further treatment and guidance.

The subsequent phases of the Free Cancer Camps will be organised for the general public across the Telugu States. This inclusive approach aims to extend the benefits of early cancer detection to a wider population, emphasising the importance of preventive healthcare.
