Khayal Aapka awareness session organized at Continental Hospitals

Hyderabad, December 18th, 2020: Continental Hospitals, one of the leading healthcare providers in the city today organized a ‘free’ awareness and stress management session to help patients and their family members overcome stress and trauma in these times of a global pandemic.

Named “Khayal Aapka”, which means ‘We Care For You’, this awareness session was conducted by Dr. Shilpa Aralikar, Consultant – Internal Medicine, who helped participants to understand personal problems associated with health ailments, especially in these times when Covid-19 virus is causing great turmoil across the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shilpa Aralikar said, “Covid-19 virus directly and indirectly wreaked havoc in the lives of people, due to personal loss or due to associated social implications. Such individuals need a ray of hope to stay strong and overcome stress. Today, we focused on reasons due to which people suffer high blood sugar levels and means to tackle the problem effectively.”

Last week, Dr. Anuradha Reddy, Nutrition & Wellness Expert held a session on “How to boost immunity”; while Dr. Pradeep Simha Karur, Consultant Pulmonologist held an awareness session on “Way forward in this pandemic”, a week prior to that. Continental Hospitals will continue to hold more such meets to enhance awareness among patients and their family members.
