Hyderabad, October 15, 2025:
In a pioneering move for higher education in Telangana, the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions (MRGI) joined hands with global tech giant Google to launch the Digital Campus on Google Cloud at its Hyderabad campus.

This initiative stands as India’s largest-ever digital education collaboration, designed to empower 50,000 students with AI-powered learning tools, industry-relevant digital skills, and globally recognized certifications.

The inaugural event, held on October 15, 2025, was graced by Hon’ble Telangana Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma as Chief Guest. The occasion also saw the presence of senior Google India executives — Mr. Vaibhav Kumar Srivastava (India Head – Education & EdTechs) and Mr. Siddharth Dalwadi (South India Head – Education & EdTechs) — alongside thousands of students and faculty members.

As part of the celebrations, 50,000 balloons carrying the Google logo were released into the sky, symbolizing the institution’s ambitious leap toward a digital future.

Key Highlights of the Collaboration

The Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, which includes Malla Reddy University, Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth, and Malla Reddy Deemed to be University, announced a wide range of initiatives under this partnership:

• Joint B.Tech programs integrating cutting-edge, industry-aligned curricula.

• 200+ cloud-based modules and 100+ professional skill badges.

• 700+ interactive labs, specialized hackathons, boot camps, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).

• Career fairs and placement drives opening doors to both national and international opportunities.

This collaboration represents a major step toward building a digitally skilled, globally employable student community, in line with India’s vision of becoming a global knowledge hub.
