Cardiology conference in Hyderabad

Advances and innovations in medical procedures in treating heart ailments will be discussed in the third annual conference of Cardiological Society of India (CSI), Telangana Chapter explained the president Dr. Sridhar Kasturi.

During the meet a scientific session will be held to discuss the advances made in medical procedures; latest medical devices and new treatment methods in treating cardio-vascular diseases.

Special sessions will be held to take stock of latest treatment methods in cardiology like Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and FFR which not only helps in accurately diagnosing the cause of a disease but also plan a targeted treatment he said.

People from rural and urban areas alike are paying with their lives due to lack of awareness about heart ailments. CSI will discuss this issue threadbare as to what role it should play in spreading awareness among public about heart diseases and ways to prevent them.

The meet will also specially discuss issues like social responsibility of cardiologists and moral values they have to adhere to said Dr. Sridhar.

Pharmaceutical companies will showcase latest medical devices that are used in treating heart ailments.
