Rayalaseemas largest Critical Care facility inaugurated at KIMS Saveera, Anantapur

KIMS-Saveera Hospital, the largest healthcare facility in Anantapur, today inaugurated the largest “Critical Care” facility in Rayalaseema region. The newly inaugurated section will have 100 beds catering to the critical care needs of patients from Anantapur and neighboring districts.

 

Considered the most modern facility, KIMS-Saveera Hospital, which was established four years backis equipped with world-class technology, modern medical treatment protocols and procedures, along with expert staff, providing maximum care and support to the patients. The facility is a 250-bed, super specialty hospital with all diagnostic services, blood bank, medical and surgical therapeutic procedures, serves as a showcase of innovation and excellence in healthcare.

 

Speaking on the occasion of inaugurating the new facility, Dr. AbhinayBollineni, Chief Executive Officer, KIMS Hospitals said, “Over the decades KIMS Hospitals has evolved into the most reliable and modern-yet-affordable healthcare provider in the Telugu States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We have developed patient management protocols which are inline with international standards; today I am happy that KIMS-Saveera Hospital at Anantapur has taken this big leap forward in creating such a facility.”

 

“The critical care facility at KIMS-Saveera Hospital will cater to many specialties like cardiac care, neuro care, cardiothoracic, surgical and advance critical care critical care. This will be an all ICU beds 24x7 critical care unit like any modern tertiary care hospital in metro cities. Very few healthcare facilities in the country have a closed ICU concept and KIMS-Saveera at Anantapur is one among them,” added Mr. Kishore Reddy, Managing Director, KIMS-Saveera Hospital.

 

Dr. Ravishankar, an expert in critical care will be leading the initiative and will be the head of critical care department at KIMS-Saveera Hospital. Dr. Srinivas Prasad, CEO, KIMS-Saveera Hospital was also present at the inauguration of the facility.

 

Not just being a modern facility, KIMS-Saveera Hospital is also accredited for Fellowship of the College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCCM) course endorsed by the International Board of Medicine & Surgery (IBMS). This fellowship strengthens the team at KIMS-Saveera Hospital with continued academic activity; and also encourages Doctors bigger cities to return to their roots and practice modern medi-care without any form of compromises.
