Yes, one may achieve a flat stomach without exercising. Being vigilant with your diet and not indulging into unhealthy bingeing can help you to succeed. However, exercise is a must to attain complete fitness. There are a number of ways to lose weight without going on a diet or exercising. However, adding exercise to these healthful habits can also improve a person's weight loss results. Exercise is contraindicated in certain health risks such as Hypertension, heart issues and other ailments which may lead exerting yourself. Exercise is always beneficial in mild form and under guidance to lead a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Sanjay Borude, Bariatric Surgeon, Apollo Spectra Hospital Mumbai, shares tips to lose weight without exercises.

 

Healthy Habits to lose weight naturally:

 

 Meals should constitute of all groups. Avoid large meals. Consume small healthy meals at regular intervals.

 

 Avoid processed/ packaged food is the key to a well maintained weight. One should avoid eating anything after 8 pm as late night binging is a common culprit to obesity.

 

 Drink water and plenty of it. Water is the only beverage that is beneficial to us in whole along with coconut water and other forms such as green tea. Avoid high calorie sugary drinks. Juices are good and nutritious but in moderation.

 

 Healthful and homemade snacks can increase fullness and reduce the number of calories that people eat during meals. Sitting down and eating a healthful meal with family can also play a role in weight management.

 

Avoid eating in-front of your computer or your TV. Research has proven people tend to over eat as one isn’t aware what they are consuming.

 

Enough sleep. Sleeping schedule should be fixed with a good 7-9 hours. The body recovers overnight during a good restful sleep. Sleeping too much may lead to further bad habits.

 

Eat slowly and wisely. Our fast pace of life has led us to eating fast food or processed food. Ironically, it reduces the feeling of satiety and leads to overeating. Eat to kill your hunger. When your brain registers that your stomach is full you’ve already overeaten. Eat up to 70%.

 

Dieting doesn’t mean starvation. Starvation leads to many other problems. Healthy diet plan does helps you to lose weight, but it’s critical to combine good nutrition with the good calories.

 

Self education. Reading the content of the food by reading up or reading the labels help you to make the wiser decision. Understand the nutritive value of everything that you consume.

 

Start your day early. Getting a good head start leads to a healthy mind and therefore a healthy lifestyle.

De stress. Stress hampers your well being. Stress eating is an addictive habit. One needs to de stress by means of meditation from our daily hustle bustle.

 

Weight loss isn’t stressful or complicated. Be patient. Understand your body. Self education with a help of a professional and be honest with yourself. Eat healthy and exercise adequate, live healthy. Follow a good lifestyle. Adequate calorie, adequate exercise and adequate mental and physical rest can help in achieving your goal. Remember, crash diet and unsupervised diet programs can lead to medical issues.
