Aster Prime salutes the nation on the 72nd Independence Day

Hyderabad, 15 August 2018: The celebrations to mark the 72nd Independence Day at Aster Prime Hospitals commenced with the unfurling of the national flag and the singing of the National Anthem. Management, staff, and doctors came together in the spirit of patriotism and love for the country. Ameerpet Corporator N Seshu Kumari was the chief guest. She hoisted the flag and spoke eloquently about our diverse nation. Apart from the traditional flag hoisting and salute, the hospital used the occasion to commend the outstanding performers of the hospital. Aster Hospitals on the occasion gave away dustbins to the GHMC and along with Mr. Goutham and his team from Serve Needy (an NGO) the conducted Swachh Bharat activity along the street.

 

Dr. G Satish Reddy, Aster Hospitals said it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect for our country and make it better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. Also, he spoke about the importance of health and their aim of making India ailment free healthy nation. He reiterated their previous eve’s activities where the volunteers from the hospital visited a govt. school and participated in Swachh Bharat activity by cleaning their premises, painting the walls.

 

Dr. Satish applauded and praised the efforts of the maintenance staff who are the real heroes in maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital and are the champions who fight for the health. He said that Aster Prime is proud to felicitate the employee and make them feel proud of themselves. During the speech, Dr. Satish also addressed about the significance of this day which brings the whole country together in her embedded diversity.

I am so happy Aster Prime hospitals are taking part in Swachh Bharat initiative and making sure that the surroundings are clean. Everyone should consciously take up cleanliness. Having clean surroundings enables every individual become an agent of change for improving water, sanitation and hygiene practices in their families and within their community.”
