Maxcure Suyosha Women and Child Hospital at Madhapur conducts traffic awareness on the need to wear helmets and seat belts

MaxCure Suyosha Women’s & Child Hospitals Hitech City,  Madhapur, Hyderabad in association with Global edge school, Cordlife and Hyderabad traffic police, today organized an awareness campaign at Shilparamam Circle stressing on the importance of wearing helmet.

The campaign was aimed to make motorists aware of traffic rules, focusing on the use of helmet and seat belt. The kids who were taking part in the campaign distributed some quirky pamphlets to the drivers who were wearing and also to motorists who were not wearing helmet or seat belt. Kids also held some placards with messages and shouted slogans. The students enjoyed the interactive session with Trafffic Police (Mogilicharla Ravi) and were inspired to take the message back home about how critical road safety is. They were given the responsibility of ensuring that their family members follow the rules of the road, as breaking rules might be dangerous or fatal.

The student of class seven, said, “We came out today to participate in the traffic awareness campaign about wearing helmets to avoid accidents and not to drink and drive. We are happy to be the part of this campaign. Taking this responsibility made us understand the importance. We will go back home and also create awareness among our parents and friends around.”

Dr. Manjula Anagani , HOD, MaxCure women and child hospital, said, “we are very excited to be a part of this campaign. The ides of the event was to raise awareness about road safety and spread the message of importance of helmet and seat belt. In case of accident, not only an individual but the whole family suffers. So everyone should be self-responsible in adhering to traffic rules and wearing helmets and seat belts”.
