Hyderabad, 28th October 2018: Film Nagar Cultural Centre (FNCC), in association with KSAC Hospitals, conducted an Ayurvedic Medical Consultation Camp for the members of the FNCC at their centre on Sunday, October 28th, 2018. The main aim of this Consultation Camp is to sensitize the members about  Ayurveda as a holistic treatment which has its own uniqueness. Generally, the film fraternity experiences a lot of work pressure and stress due to their erratic work schedules, and as a result, they go against their body clocks to cope up with demanding shooting plans. Stress can affect people of all ages, genders and circumstances, and can lead to both physical and psychological health issues.

Ayurveda is a science which treats the body, and the treatment includes physical and psychological ailments. The psychology is given great importance in Ayurveda.

As many as six doctors attended the event from different specialities (Ortho, Neuro, Anorectal, Gynecology, Cardiac, Pulmonology, Urogenital, Panchkarma, Geriatrics and Rejuvenation) to clear the doubts of the people attending the program.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saji D'souza, Chief Ayurvedic Specialist, KSAC Hospital, said, "We are here to detoxify the bodies of the people who are under stress and to create awareness among them regarding Ayurveda and its benefits. The holistic approach of Ayurveda means it also positively affects your mindfulness practices, helping reduce overall stress. People who undergo our treatment often report they can concentrate better, sleep better and feel less anxious on the whole."

"Generally, for good health, one has to have good sleep, a healthy diet and also maintain fitness. All these aspects are affected due to erratic work schedules, and may result in numerous problems in the realm of Orthopedics, Neurology and Pulmonology. We use Panchkarma to treat these problems, and we have a super specialist from each Department who can address these issues." He added.
