The Premier Multi-specialty Ayurvedic Hospital, KSAC, has helped a 40-year-old male patient from Jangaonto return to normal life. Guda Bhasker, an auto driver by profession, was brought to KSAC Hospital with complaints of severe neck pain radiating to both hands, severe back pain radiating to his legs, and severe paraesthesia. He was completely immobilized and bedridden, and tried all sorts of treatment before opting for Ayurveda at KSAC.
He consulted Dr.Saji D’Souza, the Chief Ayurvedic Specialist of KSAC hospital. Upon investigation, he was diagnosed with severe Cervical Spondylosis at C3,C4,C5,C6,C7 vertebrae and severe Lumbar Spondylosis at L3,L4,L5,S1 levels, and disc protrusions at multiple levels. He was also diagnosed with severe Common Peroneal nerve motor axonopathy.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Saji said, “Worldwide, people have started accepting Ayurveda as an effective alternate medicine which can have help tackle many medical problems. We are glad that Mr. Bhasker came to us. He was totally immobilized, could not even stand, and was experiencing severe pain. After a thorough analysis of this case, we devised a treatment plan of 3 courses of 14 days each, for correcting the vertebral positions, rehydrating discs and regenerating the nervous activity.”
“We could see the change within 7 days. His pain started to decrease, and the patient stood up on both legs and began to walk with a dragging gait. By the 14th day, the patient was completely independent and started walking freely and normally with very minimal pain. We discharged him and prescribed medicine for one month thereafter, and advised him to come for a review subsequently.”
Says Guda Bhasker, “The results felt like a near-miracle. We thank the KSAC team wholeheartedly. This is very encouraging. I almost lost all hope and was highly depressed a few weeks back. I never believed in this medical system, and now I regret that I took so long to opt for this traditional medicine. But I am glad to be back on my feet with no pain in my legs or hands. The team here has taken great care.”
