Apollo Hospitals announces free cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children in conjunction with Lions International

 

Delhi, July 31, 2018: In a gesture of humanitarian outreach, Dr. Prathap C Reddy, the visionary Founder Chairman, Apollo Hospitals announced an initiative under which 100 underprivileged children would benefit from free cardiac surgeries. The initiative is part of the Lions Clubs International – Apollo Hospitals Partnership Program, under which Lions International would refer under-12 patients for evaluation to Apollo Hospitals. Apollo Hospitals would carry out free cardiac surgeries on 100 of the most critical cases.

 

The announcement was made on the sidelines of the function in the capital, where Dr. Prathap Reddy was conferred with the Lions Humanitarian Award for his work in increasing accessibility and affordability of world-class healthcare to bring it within the economic and geographic reach of millions.
