Hyderabad, 1ST September 2018: Department of E.N.T, FACIAL PLASTIC, and HEAD & NECK SURGERY, Care Hospitals, Banjara Hills, is conducted 6TH International Rhinoplasty Workshop at Care Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on 1st & 2nd Sept. 2018. The Rhinoplasty workshop is first of its kind in Hyderabad, started the first workshop five years ago in July 2013 and second workshop in July 2014 trained 125 & 150 ENT and Plastic Surgeons from all over the country and from neighboring countries focused on correcting nose cosmetic deformities and functional breathing problems. This live surgical workshop and talks planned are to train over 150 junior and senior E N T and Plastic Surgeons from all over India and abroad, every year in the nose plastic surgery. This live surgical workshop will also benefit to bring awareness among the E N T postgraduate students, practicing consultant E N T and Plastic Surgeons.
CARE Hospitals has identified patients by conducting a free ENT camp and screening patients for nose plastic surgery with various nose deformities like saddle nose, flat nose, deviated nose to either side, twisted nose, bulbous tip of the nose, hump deformity of the nose and cleft lip nose.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr N Vishnu Swaroop Reddy says,” This live surgical workshop aims to create awareness to rectify the various nose problems both cosmetically to improve the shape of the nose and functionally to improve the breathing through the nose. This awareness campaign will help patients with nose cosmetic problems to improve the self-esteem and give them the self-confidence to live happily”.
The delegates registered for this workshop include not only from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and all over India but also from neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Yemen and other Gulf countries. About one-fourth of them are postgraduate students and three-fourths are practicing Senior Consultant ENT and Plastic Surgeons.
Through this workshop we treated the patients who are suffering from External Deformity of the Nose, Large Nose, Small Nose, Flat Nose, Deviated Nose, Hump Deformity of the Nose, Saddle deformity of the Nose and Large Tip of the Nose Prominent and Protruding Ears, Patients with Facial Scars, Baggy Eyelids, Ageing Face, in view of Face Lift and Patients with Facial weakness (Facial Paralysis) in this workshop performed surgeries by highly qualified, internationally trained doctors who had worked / working in the UK, USA , Austria and Singapore.

This Event is conducted in the fond memories of Late Dr VP Sood who was known for conducting these training workshops every year for E N T and Plastic Surgeons over 35 years at Delhi. Dr Sood had created awareness of Rhinolasty surgery among E N T surgeons in India
Dr. Vishnu Swaroop Reddy, after returning from the UK, was involved in the past few years at Rhinoplasty workshops being conducted at Delhi by Dr VP Sood. After his demise, Dr. Vishnu S waroop Reddy started this workshop two years ago at Hyderabad, inspired by Dr Sood, to continue this workshop, every year at Care Hospital, Banjara hills, Hyderabad.

Dr. Vishnu Swaroop Reddy, who had his training in the field of ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery in the UK, USA, Germany, Paris, Austria and Australia and worked in the United Kingdom for over 10 years, returned to Care Hospitals in the year 2003, has created state of the art E N T, Facial Plastic & Head and Neck surgery department at CARE HOSPITAL, BANJARA HILLS, HYDERABAD. And the department is a recognized centre for Doctors, Postgraduate training in E N T and Head & Neck Surgery (Three years DNB training programme). His special interests are not only nose plastic surgery (Rhinoplasty) but performed over 120 Cochlear Implant surgeries for profoundly deaf adults and children with deafness and delayed speech and language problems. He is also the first E N T surgeon in the city to start Image Guided (CT&MRI) Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in the year 2010 to remove sinus and brain tumors through the nose and sinuses. In addition to Micro ear surgery to cure the ear diseases and hearing problems, he also specializes in Endoscopic Sinus surgery, Voice Surgery and Surgery for Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.
